Principal's Message

Thank you for visiting the Darwin Languages Centre website.  As our name suggests, we are all about languages.  It’s our mission to provide learners of all ages the opportunity to learn another language in a safe and supportive environment. In addition to this, we are also home to the NT Education Library and Darwin Adult Short Courses.

Often we hear people ask, “Why learn a language?”, but really the question should be, “Why aren’t you learning another language?” It doesn’t matter what language you want to learn, the benefits of learning another language are proven, including improved English literacy skills.

The Darwin Language Centre is located in Ludmilla with students attending from a different variety of schools, both primary and secondary.  We even offer an after-school bus pickup service from some schools. Currently students can choose from 10 different languages.

Have a look around our site or gives us call. We would be happy to help you out.
